It’s important to see value in what you do or what you are planning to do. In order to encourage you as you step up your marketing efforts, I’d like to highlight several organizations over the next month with whom I’ve partnered to help with their marketing so you can see what can happen when you take that next step in your marketing plan, whether it’s increasing the marketing you’re doing or taking those first steps to start marketing your organization.
Today, I’d like to tell you about Peter Kennedy and Devotional.com.
Devotional Email:
I was first introduced to Peter at the end of April this year. He had a passion for helping people to be more engaged in their relationship with God by spending time in prayer and the Word every day. This is something I have a passion for as well in my work with my church, so it was very exciting for me to be able to partner with Peter and his ministry. He knew a lot of people go to church every Sunday, but then during the week, find it difficult to find time for a devotion. He wants to help. Why don’t I let Peter tell the rest.
“Devotional Email began in April 1996 with the mission to provide a morning devotional Monday through Friday to those in the workplace. Each short devotion contains Bible verses, an illustration, a prayer and a quotation. Through the years, there was growth until 2011, at which point there were some 3000 subscribers.
In early 2011, a redesigned web site saw rapid growth in subscribership. At the beginning of 2012, there were 6000 subscribers. Looking for a larger audience, Devotional Email turned to OurChurch.Com and received an excellent diagnosis of web site positioning. Together, Devotional Email and OurChurch.Com embarked on a program to improve search engine optimization. Within 6 months, a 20% increase in the rate of enrollment from the previous year was realized.
Today, there are some 9800 subscribers to Devotional Email. Lives are being changed in part because OurChurch.com has made our devotionals that much easier to find in the search engines.”
It’s been a real blessing to partner with Peter over the past 6 months as I worked to provide the Progressive SEO Management service for him and Devotional.com. I would like to encourage you to consider the growth you could be having in your business or ministry through good, online marketing. It can really help you to achieve your goals online. I, and OurChurch.Com as a whole, hope to be able to help you to move towards that with the information we’ll provide during Marketing Month and the months and years beyond. Of course, we’re always happy to help with a service as well.
I also want to encourage you to spend time in the Word every day. I want you to succeed with your business or ministry, but I also hope you grow deeper in your relationship with Christ and live out the extraordinary plans God has for you. So, please take a minute to visit Devotional.com. Read through some of the devotionals (it’s a treasure trove) and be sure to subscribe.
