Christmas Time Is Here!

Ah, yes.  Here the bells ringing.  Here the children singing!  The first snow has just started falling and…

Hold on…Wait a minute!  It’s October!!

(And I live in Florida, so it never snows.)

So, what am I talking about?  I’m usually the kinda guy who gets a little irritated that the stores start putting out the Christmas stuff before Thanksgiving…or Valentines Day for that matter.  Why am I bringing up Christmas now?

SEO Takes Time:
Search Engine Optimization takes time.  If you want to rank well for seasonal keywords, like keywords related to Christmas, you need to start optimizing a least a couple months before that season.  It takes time to do keyword research.  It takes time to  optimize your site.  And, most importantly, it takes time for the search engines to respond.  Actually, you probably should have started a few months ago for Christmas, but it’s still not to late yet.

If you want people to be able to find out online about your church’s Christmas program, start optimizing now.  If you want to have people buy your light-up, musical Christmas ties online, start optimizing now.

You really don’t have time to waste.  Search engine optimization is not something for which you can wait for the last minute (like I do with my Christmas shopping).

Ok, you can wait for a minute to watch this clip from A Charlie Brown Christmas, but then get optimizing.

You can’t hardly stand to wait, it’s Christmas don’t be late!
