I received a guest blog article yesterday afternoon from a person doing missions work in Africa. At first I dismissed it because it doesn’t meet the some of the guidelines we had set. It’s not as long as we would have liked, the grammar is a bit lacking, and it doesn’t go into a lot of specifics about how the Internet is being used.
But you know what? Throughout history God has used lots of people who didn’t meet human guidelines – prostitutes, murderers, uneducated fishermen. Maybe God can use a blog article that doesn’t meet my specs.
Here is the message I received…
Dear Brethren,
Thank you for your e-mail about missions. I began to serve God on the homepage ourchurch.com/member/h/Hilaire in November 2004.
Since this day I could reach more people with the message of the Evangelism of peace Jesus brought to us. In the beginning of 2005 I got many messages brethren from different countries especially from East and central Africa. I do not think, I could not have this opportunity easily without this medium.
Through this homepage the Lord has set up a living network that preaches the Evangelism of peace ‘Word of Peace and Reconciliation Ministries Network’.. We are present in Burundi and Rwanda and South Africa. We are also working together with brothers and Sisters from/in Congo (RDC). We are in touch with Brethren in Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. For one year, my brethren Wenceslas Ndayisenga and Pastor Fidel Ndikumwami visited Uganda. We also got visit, two preachers from Zambia came to Bujumbura. They did bring Bibles that was a big blessing for us.
This is for me a great moment to express my gratitude to you. All those contacts were possible through this possibility you grant me by giving me the possibility to be the owner of website. God bless you…
N.B I am Burundi native with a German passport. I am living in Germany since 15 years. I came to the Lord in this country.
God bless you

God is doing some awesome things in Africa these days. While more and more people in Europe and the Americas are dismissing God out of foolish self-sufficiency, more and more people in Africa are embracing Jesus as savior. It’s also amazing to me the impact that the Internet is having on missions work and the spreading of the Gospel in a continent where most people still do not have electricity in their homes.

It is with a Warm Heart and Thanksgiving to know that the Brothers and Sisters in Africa have a Kind Spirit Working with them and their Families . I feel very Happy to know that these Missionaries got the Bibles and that finding God and Jesus gives them hope , love , understanding and most of all Comfort . The Spirit of the Lord once lead that part of the World . And during hard times ,killings ,war, voodoo , greed , these Brothers and Sisters found God .
The Life that they have to live We can only Pray for them. The Law of their Lands are Scarery, Lawless,Unkind,Chopped Up, Brutal , and more . Some of these Africans have a hard life and surviorers . Now with God on their side once again , I feel a big Smile from up above and far away.
Yours with Love Sister Anderson
This is a powerful witness to the blessings of God. I am so glad you decided to post it. It is a miracle. The sisters and brothers in Africa pouring out of the door at the church is an awesome picture.
God bless.
It is awaresome to see what God is doing In Africa , despite our many diffculties we face as a people God is still in the process of doing wonderful things. I believe it is the time for Africa to show the World the real gospel of Jesus our Lord. The missionaries came to us with the Gospel and it is our turn to go to the them with the power of Revival .
Brothers and sisters, fellow ministers of the Lord continue in his vineyard and we shall the fulness of God in Africa . Africa is not the Dark continent it is the light continent , we are not developing nations . it our time to came from ashes to glorly from pit to the palace.
Shallom may God bless Africa and his Annoited ones

Let us continue this good work to the people of Africa. My neighbors are from Ethiopia, and are some of the nicest people I have ever met. May the lord continue to bless each and every one of us.
