In part 2 of our Social Networking Round Table we looks at social media for organizations. There are lots of opportunities for organizations to connect with people using social networking tools like blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and so on. Many organizations struggle to decide which tools to use and how to use them effectively. Our panel provides some insight to help your organization navigate those options.

Which best describes your organization's approach to assessing the value/ROI of social media?

We diligently track the source of all sales/goals so we know what social media is producing.
We look at trends. If our use of social media correlates with an increase in our sales/goals that indicates it's value.
You can't put a dollar value on relationships and so we don't try to assess the value/ROI of social media.
We're doing some tracking of the source of sales/goals, so we have some numbers, but we also recognize there's more to the value of social media than those numbers.
We're experimenting with social media now. We'll tackle the value/ROI issue once we get a better idea of what we're doing.
