Imagine for a moment you are a doctor who has discovered a cure for cancer. Your discovery has the capability to extend the life of millions of people facing the tragedy of an early death.
But between your discovery and administering the cure there is a gap – an information gap.
Doctors treating cancer patients need to know about it. Patients need to be informed of the new treatment option. Without that information, no one is cured.
Communication bridges the information gap.
But information alone is not enough.
There are thousands of people every day pitching new cures for everything from depression to toenail fungus. Ultimately, for people to be cured by your new discovery they have to take action. Between your information and their action is another gap – a motivation gap.
Great communication bridges the motivation gap.
Great communication connects with people, it provides compelling evidence that your solution will change their life for the better, and provides clear “next steps” for them to take. It motivates people to action.
It would be tragic if you discovered a cure for cancer and then botched its communication so that either people were never informed about it or could not act on it, right?
It is just as tragic if you botch your communications.

OUR CHURCH HAS CHANGED IN TWO WAYS
FIRST WE DETREMINED TO MAKE OUR CHURCH USER FRIENDLY ( THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO DO THIS WITHOUT COMPROMISING OUR STAND ON THE BIBLE)
SECOND WE ARE DEVELOPING WAYS TO REACH OUT TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND RADIO COMMUNITY
WE ARE HUNGERY FOR SOULS TO BE SAVED AND NOT TRYING TO RAISE MONEY ,,,, THN GOD JUST GIVES US THE MONEY OR WHATEVER WE NEED
That sounds great, Dr. Carpenter! Can you share more about how you are reaching out to your neighborhood and radio community?
