Online privacy has been a big issue in the minds of people for years, especially since the revelation of the NSA snooping programs. As these concerns grew, there just happened to be a search engine that resolved that issue by not tracking people as they searched. That search engine is DuckDuckGo.
Over the past year or so, DuckDuckGo has seen a huge surge in usage, gaining over 40% in just the past 6 months. And, while they are still a relatively small player in the world of search, this past month they made some significant deals with Apple which may dramatically increase their number of users. In addition, they just launched a new version of DuckDuckGo which produces better results and includes many new features.
I’ll tell you all about the surprising advances for DuckDuckGo, recent updates with Google, and other important news in this month’s video update.
