Do you know where you rank in Google or are you just guessing…or hoping? Did you know that if you are just going to Google and checking the rankings yourself you aren’t actually seeing where you rank for everyone else?
Most people I talk to don’t know where they rank in Google. Some have checked to see if they rank well for their own organization’s name, but then again, most website’s rank well for their own name. What about other search terms?
It’s important to know where you rank because that tells you where you have opportunities to get more traffic and it tells you if your SEO (Search Engine Optimization) efforts are being effective.
