Hey, I’m Paul Steinbrueck! And in the last video I introduce to you my 7 Communications Resolutions for 2013. In this one I’m going to touch on number one, which is video.
We have not made great used to video – me personally or OurChurch.com- in the past, but I really want to make better used of it for several reasons:
One, it is a very personal media. You really get to engage with people through video, they get to know you a lot better.
Second reasons is, YouTube videos are ranking very highly in Search Engines. We want to create content that’s gonna be found by people. So that’s another reason to do it.
Third reason is that video is actually – at least in theory anyway – a faster type of content to create. Sometimes it can take 30 minutes or an hour to write a blog post but I can knock out a 1 or 2 minute video in just a few minutes with a little prep.
So, those are main reasons that we’re going with video this year, and if one of your resolutions to make a better use of video I’d love to about hear that. Go ahead and post a comments and let me know if you’re doing that and why?
Stay tuned for the next video in this series – Resolution #2: Google Plus

I totally agree with your Paul- Video is here to stay- Video is everything- More and more people are going to be doing vlogs and video marketing in 2013. Those that don't might be left behind- pun intended 🙂
