Pingback: Tweets that mention Win 1 Free Year of Church Communication Software from @memberhub | Christian Web Trends Blog -- Topsy.com
I have multiple favorite communications resources. I will list a website, a book, and a software. The website would be http://www.effectivechurchcom.com/, the book Fusion by Nelson Searcy, and finally the software would be Connection Power (LOVE Connection Power at connectionpower.com) I tweeted about this @thegrovetweets and posted to my personal fb. I hope we win!
I love being able to send out newsletters & prayer requests (when they work!) from our web site at http://www.ourchurch.com and the free resources at http://www.sermonsforkids.com also the free resources at http://www.lifechurch.com. Posted this to facebook.
I used to design and send out a monthly newsletter for our church members, but due to restricted cost, have not done so for the past several months. I see this as a wonderful opportunity to restart this ministry.
This would be an answered prayer and a wanted return of our newsletter to our members.
As noted in the revisions to the post… We’ve decided to extend the giveaway through February 1 and give you more chances to win. You can share/tweet/comment once a day through Feb 1. Each day that you do, you’ll receive another entry in drawing. So, the more days you share/tweet/comment the better your chances to win. We are a church plant established in September 2010 located in Renton, Washington called New Freedom Christian Community. Realizing that we are in a Digital Age, we have been implementing the use of social media as an outreach tool through our website http://www.newfreedomcc.com and facebook page for both our spiritual community as well as the surrounding neighborhoods in Renton.
I am currently maintaining the facebook page for our church and recently discovered your website, http://www.ourchurch.com which was the first website I came across that specifically addresses church communication using social media. From your daily facebook posts, in addition, to reading the book recommendation and following the blogs posts from the book Less Clutter. Less Noise. by Kem Meyer, I have been gaining more knowledge to better serve in this capacity of social media for our church. Thus, in my opinion, you guys just rock and are considered one of my favorites! 🙂
Another website that I refer to and is my "go to" resource center when I have a specific question that I need answered is: http://www.501branded.com This website offers online marketing advice for non-profits. The blogger has a Marketing and IT background as well as experience working with non-profits organizations in thinking through their SEO, social media, and online marketing strategies.
Thank you for offering this promotion and the opportunity to share resources with one another.
