We had so much fun last week giving away a Chili’s gift card as a Christmas gift, that we decided to do one more giveaway before the holidays. This week we’re giving away an $25 Amazon gift card.
All you have to do is…
- Tweet this post or share it on Facebook.
- Post a comment telling us… what’s the best book you’ve read this year? (If books aren’t your thing, then go with the best album or movie this year). And please include the Twitter/Facebook account where you shared the link in your comment.
We’ll randomly select one winner tomorrow (Wed, Dec 22) at 5 PM Eastern.

The best movie we saw this year, hands down, was Toy Story 3. My entire family enjoyed it, from toddlers to teens. Can't beat that!

Difficult to pick a favourite book because I love reading, but I would probably have to go for A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. Beautifully written, harrowing & disturbing at times, it's a powerful depiction of what life has been like for women in Afghanistan for the past few decades, moving into the rule of the Taliban and up to life in 2003. If you like books that make you think & give insights into other cultures, regimes & religions this is a must-read.

So i really don't read books, watch movies, and I don't know what songs I listen to that are 2010 so I'll suggest a couple books that I have "wanted" to read that are 2010 but haven't done so yet.
– Christian Athiest by Craig Groeschel
– Sun Stand Still by Steven Furtick

I'd have to say that "Radical" by David Platt is by far the best and most challenging book of my year, maybe of my decade! It has helped me to draw nearer to Christ every day as I have focused on God's holiness.
