If you’re a Twitter user who is giving Google Buzz a spin, you may want to automatically export your Google Buzz into Twitter.
Here are step-by-step instructions to do that.
Exporting Google Buzz into Twitter
Getting items posted to Google Buzz to be automatically tweeted to Twitter is a little more complicated.
Go to http://twitterfeed.com and create an account. After you’ve completed the form you’ll be taken to the form “Step 1: Create Feed” (shown below).
Complete the “Step 1: Create Feed” form
Enter a feed name like “Google Buzz”.
The URL of the RSS feed for your Google Buzz is
http://buzz.googleapis.com/feeds/{username}/public/posted
Replacing {username} with your Google username.
EDIT 2/12: Thanks to Michael, who pointed out in the comments the RSS URL is not always the format above. In some cases your RSS URL may include an ID# rather than your username. Look at the bottom of the Edit your profile form to see whether your URL has your username or ID# in it.
Click the “Advanced Settings” button. The settings I suggest are:
- Update Frequency: every half hour
- And up to: 5 new updates at a time
- Post content: description only
- Post link: leave it checked & shorted with bit.ly
- Post prefix: I set to “Buzz: ” so it will be obvious which tweets come from Buzz
Click the button to continue to step 2
On the “Step 2: Configure Publishing Services” page…
Click the Twitter option. (The screen below will appear)
Click the big blue “Authenticate Twitter Using OAuth” button.
Then on the Twitter page click the “Allow” button. That should take you back to the TwitterFeed page.
Click the “Create Service” button at the bottom of the page.
On the screen that follows, just click the “All Done” button on the bottom.
Theoretically, your Buzz posts should start showing up in your Twitter stream within a half hour. However, when I set it up it took several hours.
You can monitor the status of your TwitterFeed by going to the dashboard and clicking the “view” link next to the feed.
If you prefer, another option is to do the opposite and import your tweets into Google Buzz. Just don’t do both or you’ll create an infinite loop.
If you follow these instructions, we’d appreciate your feedback. Did everything work as expected? How long did it take from when you completed the instructions until it started working? Have you got any other tips? Better settings to use?

Great resource. I will be pointing some people here for the info.
Quick question: what is the benefit of setting this up?
Thanks Kyle. the benefit is that you don't have to post the same updates in both Twitter and Buzz. I am probably going to continue to use TweetDeck and have my tweets automatically imported into Buzz. But other people may want to make Buzz the main hub of their social networking and automatically have their Buzz exported to Twitter.
Fixed!
Must click the RSS feed button in the address bar and copy the address of the site you're linked to…

Michael, thanks for pointing that out. Looks by default Google gives both your profile and your Buzz RSS feed a URL that has an ID# in it rather than your Google username. As you pointed out you can get the URL by clicking on your web browser's RSS icon. You can also view/change that URL at the bottom of the form to edit your Google profile:
http://www.google.com/profiles/me/editprofile?edi…
I get this error when trying to go to section 2:
"Feedurl We couldn't parse this feed, please check URL and/or feed content are valid"
My RSS Feed URL is: http://buzz.googleapis.com/feeds/lilhillhcxc/publ…
I don't haven't really used RSS feeds before so I'm not sure how to deal with the error…
Good site, thankyou for your help. But it took long time to find in all that fuzz about all that talk about who is winning over who (twitter / FB / Buzz)
Did Google say whether buzz would be rolled out as an app on Android?
Hope the release won't be something disappointing! Google, we love twitter!
