Survey Says: The Biggest Hurdle Facing Online Churches Today Is…

Vote in this week's PollIn last week’s poll we asked people:

What is the biggest hurdle facing online churches today?

The results were a little surprising to me:

  • 33% Discipleship
  • 22% Worship
  • 22% Serving one another
  • 22% Genuine community
  • 0% Sacraments
  • 0% Other

I wouldn’t have expected discipleship to get the most votes.  But the timing is good because later today we’ll continue our series on online church with a post about discipleship, so check back a little later for that.

What do you think about these poll results?

This week’s poll question is:

Are you sending fewer Christmas cards this year because you stay connected with people throughout the year with social networking sites like Facebook?

  1. I do send less Christmas cards. I don't do much on social networking sites but but I send more cards via email or ecards.

  2. We just started using social networking sites, not sure what impact it will make yet.
