We recently started a new feature here at Christian Web Trends – a weekly poll. Here are the results from our first poll.
How important are the issues surrounding online church to the future of the church?
- 18% – Critically important – online church is the biggest issue facing the church today.
- 54% – Very important – online church will have a significant impact on how most Christians think about and do church.
- 9% – Somewhat important – the questions surrounding online church are of moderate importance.
- 18% – Not very important – online church may be an interesting topic of conversation for some people, but impacts a relatively small number of people and churches.
As you can see, by a wide margin, those who voted believe issues related to online church are very important to the future of the church. The results are not that surprising considering this is blog about ministry and technology and we’re doing a series about online church, so our readers and voters are more likely to be focused on issues related to online church.
As we continue our blog series about online church, this week’s poll question is again related to online church:
What is the biggest hurdle facing online churches today?
Take 5 seconds and vote in the poll in the right sidebar.
