This post is long over due, but last month after a 3 ½ year run Matt Farina and Bob Christianson (aka Rob Feature) recorded the final episode of the Geeks and God podcast.
I have never been a big consumer of podcasts because I don’t have a lot of drive time or other time conducive to listening for extended periods of time, but I made time to listen to G&G when I could because Rob and Matt had interesting stuff to say about using technology in ministry and they did it in a way that was interesting.
Kurt and I had the opportunity to hang out with Matt and Bob at the Interactive Church Conference in Daytona earlier this year. They are good guys who love God and know what they’re talking about.
Matt and Bob are moving on to bigger and better things. They are being tight-lipped about specifically what they’ve got in the works, though. In the mean time, archives of the 100+ G&G podcast episodes will remain on line and the G&G forums will remain active.
Matt and Bob, I just want to personally say thanks and give props to you guys for all you’ve done with Geeks and God over the last 3 ½ years. Blessings on your new adventure.
