Join the Trust Agents group blog project

Trust Agents by Chris Brogan and Julien SmithIn the last year, I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of 2 group blog projects one for Seth Godin’s book Tribes and another for Shane Hipps’ book Flickering Pixels.  Both were fantastic experiences.

If you’re new to the concept, a group blog project is where a bunch of bloggers join together to blog about and discuss a book.  Each blogger posts about a different section of the book and everyone contributes their thoughts in the comments.  It’s a great way to discuss a book, build relationships with other bloggers, and bring new visitors to your blog.

In 3 weeks we’re going to start a new group blog project for Trust Agents: Using the Web to Build Influence, Improve reputation and Earn Trust, the new book by Chris Brogan and Julien Smith.  Chris and Julien are marketing/social media gurus and write a couple of the best blogs anywhere.

If you are a leader in any capacity – at work, in church or ministry, or in the community I think you’ll learn a lot including a lot of practical ideas that will help you improve your leadership and influence.

Here are the details…

  • The book has 8 fairly long chapters.  We’ll be breaking them in half so 16 people can participate.
  • The project will start on Wednesday Oct. 14 and new post will be published each Mon, Wed. and Fri until we complete the book.
  • I’ve created a spreadsheet in Google docs.  If you want to participate, post a comment, I’ll share the spreadsheet with you and then you can put your name next to any of the half chapters still available.
  • To help simplify and organize things, everyone will post as a guest blogger here on Christian Web Trends and we’ll include lots of link love back to each participant’s blogs.

There are also rumors that Chris Brogan is going to throw in a couple of free books.  So, if you participate you may have a shot at getting a free copy of Trust Agents.

Post a comment and let me know if you’re in.
