Good afternoon and happy Friday to you all. Last month in our blog survey we asked if you would be interested in reading about related articles found on other blogs. A significant percentage of those of you who responded expressed an interest in that, so we’re going to experiment for a while with a Friday afternoon blog article featuring some of the articles from the week which I thought were interesting. Some of the articles are a little off-topic, but it’s Friday, and we have to have a little fun.
Xianz launches safe alternative to YouTube
Xianz.com, the faith based alternative to Myspace, has now launched it’s own video service. Xianz Watch will now enable members to view, upload and share videos. Although just launched, Xianz Watch has hundreds of videos already uploaded.
I only spent a brief time on Xianz, so I haven’t seen much at all, but I thought this video was pretty funny: I’m a Christ Follower (Mac vs. PC Parody) Part 02

Thanks for those, some of those I hadn’t read.
I think this is a good feature but perhaps the title needs refining if it is going to be a regular feature? I saw ‘web trends’ and thought the post was going to be some kind of statistical analysis. But instead it was just a link summary post, albeit with interesting links. It was a post on things that had ‘happened’ rather than ‘trends’.
Anyway, I would like to see this as a regular feature.
David, thanks for your feedback. “Christian Web Trends” is the name of our blog, so the idea behind the title intended to imply the article was our week in review. But if that results in confusion, then it is something to consider changing, so thanks for letting us know.
Glad to hear you like concept and found some of the articles interesting.
How stupid of me? In my mind you are the ourchurch.com blog. Yes of course that makes sense now. Sorry.
